Tom Barman is the leader of the band. He writes most of songs and lyrics and plays guitar. Used to be a squash champion until the age of 17. Finds Martina Hingis sexy ( You can't Deny What You liked As a Child makes reference to her. He also dee-jays sometimes, has a sideproject called Général Electrique and directed some dEUS video. A gossip ? He's born on a 1st of January. |

Julle De Borgher was the driver of the band and became later on the drummer and apart from that, I don't know much about him. |

The girls' favourite. Klaas Janzoonzs is one of the many touch of originality of the band because of his instrument : the violin. He plays also synths sometimes, sings a bit, compose music and has been spotted in concert doing some weird dance. He also played with Stef's band, Zita Swoon, for Murnau's Sunrise soundtrack. |

Danny Mommens was once part of Mauro Pawlowski's weirdo combo :Evil Superstars. He joined dEUS when Stef-Kamil Carlens left. He plays the bass, sings (second-voice) and compose music. He has his own project called: "Faîtes La Fête" with his girlfriend. |

Craig Ward is Scottish and arrived in the band after Rudy's departure. He's the counterpart of Tom when it comes to composing music and writing lyrics. He plays as well with one of Rudy's band : Kiss My Jazz. He's happily married with Heather. |
Those pictures have been taken during the France Inter Black Sessions. Go there for more pictures of dEUS and for other artist (such as Placebo, P.J. Harvey, Perry Blake...)
Rudy Trouvé used to be the guitarist and left the band after My Sister = My Clock. A brilliant and multi-skilled artist (author, composer, painter) he has lots of different projects ( Kiss My Jazz, Gore Slut and the successful Dead Man Ray) that are exploring different musical directions but who have in common the originality of the musical approach. He's running his own record label : Heavenhotel.
During many years, Stef Kamil-Carlens shared dEUS "leadership" with Tom, being like his musical twin. Unfortunately (or fortunately, it depends how you see it), Stef had another band called Moondog Junior (now Zita Swoon) and found it hard to share time and music he composed. He finally chose to carry on with Zita Swoon. As musically challenging than dEUS, Zita... released three great albums in which comprises the music composed for an old Murnau's silent movie,Sunrise.
Piet Jorens has been hired as a "flying member" during the tour following the release of In A Bar, Under The Sea to play keyboards. He plays the percussions on The Ideal Crash.
Tim Vanhamel is the new (perhaps permanent) member. He's been chosen for his voice and his guitar ability. He's also been part of Evil Superstars.
It's also necessary to
say a word about the De Platel, a dance company based in
Antwerp (of course) who got involved in dEUS' videos and tour.
